The Shifters

We used Trevor at The Shifters on two occasions to move from Buckhurst Hill to Leytonstone and then Leytonstone to Loughton. After having a very stressful period trying to buy a property we had to downsize to a smaller apartment for 6 months.
Trevor's friendly and go to attitude really helped in this difficult sitution.  Him and his colleagues were efficient and didn't waste any time in getting the furniture moved. He even managed to hoist a settee out of an upstairs window without much fuss.
The cost was extremely competitive.
 
If you want the job done quickly, efficiently with no fuss and at a very reasonable price, then hire these guys!

After looking at several removal companies, I chose The Shifters as they were local and quoted a reasonable price. They provided us with boxes a few days before, although we decided to pack them ourselves rather than take advantage of their packing service.
On the day, they turned up a little bit early (and were happy to wait), and we ended up doing two trips between my old flat and our new house. They also disassembled larger pieces of furniture and then reassembled them at our new house, and everything was delivered to the correct room.
They were fast, professional, and courteous, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a move, especially in north or east London.

We were recommended The Shifters by a friend who couldn't fault them, and I would now second that.  Trevor and Andy were by far the most conscientious fellas we've ever used and we wouldn't hesitate using them again.  Our move was a prolonged one because the exchange fell through, but Trevor went out his way to make a difficult day as stress-free as he possibly could and it kept my wife and I sane!  
All our stuff was moved with the utmost care and everything was placed in their purpose built van in an orderly and sensible manner.  Nothing was too much trouble and Trevor rounded down when the bill was settled despite himself and Andy lugging stuff about for us all day.  He even lent us some storage equipment (for no charge) because he knew it would help us.
Both Trevor and Andy were friendly, professional and caring throughout the move and we will always use them in future when moving - although we are not planning on moving again in a hurry!  i really couldn't recommend The Shifters highly enough.  Thanks chaps!

Trevor from The Shifters was exceptional. Within 24 hours he contacted me via email to say he had received my quote and would be in touch. He then called me and got all the details and followed up with an email to confirm everything and the price was the BEST around at £40 per hour.
It was a simple and easy booking process, he even offered spare packing boxes that he dropped off at our flat the day before the move.
On the day Trevor arrived on time with a helper. They were quick, had great communication skills and definitely knew how to pack a truck to ensure we got everything in, in one move and without any breakage. They are also very careful with your stuff and when bringing them inside with the walls.
It took only 3 hours to move 3 girls out of a flat and into a new one 15 mins down the road… they are that quick and service was great.

We will defiantly book The Shifters and Trevor again and highly recommend to people who are moving. .
